FKIP – Several Students from the Faculty of Teaching and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta members of the UNS Bright Scholarship 5 Awardee Team participated in the Brighter Berbagi social activity. This activity was held at the Adhsa Nur Magfiroh Orphanage on Sunday (5/2/2023).
Meanwhile, several FKIP UNS students were Farah Apit Tantri (Physics Education), Lina Wahyu Setyoningrum (Surakarta PGSD), Alvianita Maulia Fitriana (Geography Education), Lestari Rahayu (PTIK), Tiksworo Cundhomanik Caturpalestri (Chemistry Education), Salsabila Aliyah (Education IPA), and Raga Patmita Roro Febriani Sekar Indah Nugrahani (Physical Education).
Contacted by the Journalist Team fkip.uns.ac.id on Wednesday (15/2/2023), Salsabila revealed that this activity was one of the social activities of the Bright Scholarship. He also said that this sharing activity was their way of interpreting life with gratitude.
“We as social beings certainly have a sense of humanity that encourages our conscience to love and care for one another. This Brighter Sharing is also one of the social activities of the Bright Scholarship Scholarship. By sharing, we can interpret life to be more grateful. Their laughter is our happiness too,” said Salsabila.
Salsabila explained that the Bright Scholarship is provided by the Baitul Maal Bank Rakyat Indonesia Foundation (YMB BRI) for undergraduate students at selected public universities. The Scholarship is in the form of tuition assistance and monthly money. In addition, scholarship recipients are also provided with periodic, planned, and targeted comprehensive coaching.
“Bright Scholarship is an educational scholarship program from YBM BRILian. The benefits are numerous, starting from UKT, pocket money, dormitories, coaching to strengthen soft and hard skills, relationships, and many others,” explained Salsabila.
At the end of the interview session, Salsabila hoped that activities like this could motivate other people to do good.
“They also deserve to be loved by everyone. With Brighter sharing, it is hoped that other people will be encouraged to do good to anyone, anywhere, and anytime,” hoped Salsabila.
