FKIP – The Chemical Education Study Program Student Association (HMP) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta carried out social project work on the 2021 Covalent internship offline at the Jami’ Nur Huda Mojosongo Mosque on Sunday (19/ 12/2021). This activity carries the theme “Sharing Goodness at The End of 2021”.
The social project activity was a creative activity for the HMP Covalent Chemistry internship participants as a form of implementing the knowledge that has been gained during the Covalent Chemistry HMP internship. The workshop was held to introduce committee activities and train the organizational skills of interns. This work takes the concept of a social project to improve the social spirit of apprentices towards the surrounding community even though lecture activities are still carried out online.
This activity was aimed at the TPA Jami’ Nur Huda Mojosongo TPA with the aim of implementing the organizational knowledge that has been acquired during the internship, training new students in running a work program or committee, and fostering the social spirit of the Covalent Chemistry HMP apprentices through creation in the form of social projects.
The activity began with recitations of the Koran, speeches, the main event in the form of delivering materials for Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), and closed with a rubber relay game, giving mementos, and documentation.
Yoga Prasetyo Pamungkas as the chief executive of this social project activity expressed the reaction from the person in charge of the Qur’an Education Park (TPA), Ustadz Muhtadi.
“He (Ustadz Muhtadi) is very happy to have a visit from friends of the Covalent Chemistry HMP who intends to establish friendship and share goodness in the form of knowledge that may be useful,” said Yoga when met by the fkip.uns.ac.id team on Monday (27th). /12/2021).
Yoga expressed his hopes to be achieved from the implementation of this activity.
“Hopefully this creation can be a provision for new students, especially apprentices to carry out work programs or subsequent committees when they enter organizations or volunteer. By taking the concept of social projects, it is hoped that new students as social beings can care more about the surrounding community. In addition, TPA younger siblings as the target of the activity, hopefully, they can get the benefits,” said Yoga.
In the end, Yoga conveyed a plan that he wants to implement in the coming year.
“For the following years, there will still be work by the HMP Covalent Chemistry internship participants, both with social concepts and others according to the values to be conveyed in the Covalent Chemistry HMP internship,” concluded Yoga.
