Usung Ide Pembuatan Paper Bag Berbahan Dasar Eceng Gondok, Mahasiswa FKIP UNS Raih Juara 1 Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmiah dan Esai Nasional

HUMAS FKIP – Another achievement at the national level was achieved by students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta. This achievement was achieved by Tegar Ramadani from the Geography Education Study Program who won 1st Place in the 2022 National Scientific Writing and Essay Competition.

The competition was held by the Biology Education Student Association (Himapbio) of the Islamic University of Jember with the theme “Biology of Scientific Competence of Students and Students (Biochemistry) II”. Meanwhile, the theme of the competition is “The Role of Generation Z in Facing Climate Change Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045”.

In the essay competition which was participated by various participants from universities in Indonesia, Tegar brought the idea of ​​making paper bags made from water hyacinth. He gave the name of the product he was carrying “Dompu-Bag”. This idea is motivated by the availability of raw materials in the form of water hyacinth which is very abundant and can cause environmental pollution.

Contacted by the journalist team at fkip.uns.ac.id on Sunday (25/9/2022), Tegar said he was happy and grateful for the results he had achieved. He also said that the results will be used as motivation and evaluation in the future.

“Announced as the winner on September 5, 2022 through the Zoom Meeting, of course, I am happy and grateful. In the future, I will use the results that I get as a motivation as well as an evaluation to continue to develop the potential that exists in me, “said Tegar.

On the same occasion, Tegar also shared how to find information regarding the implementation of the competition. He said that he sought the information through his Instagram social media account.

“I usually look for information about competitions through Instagram social media accounts. You can use the search feature and type in the keywords you want to search for, for example, essay competitions. Searches can be tailored to your interests and potential. If I usually search with keywords, essay competitions with environmental themes,” said Tegar.

Previously, Tegar had managed to make many achievements. These achievements include 1st place in the Sriwijaya University Critical Writing Competition 2021, 2nd place in the K-Risma Code National Essay Competition, Universitas Brawijaya 2021, 2nd place in the FRIC National Essay Competition, State University of Malang, 3rd place in the Injection Scientific Writing Competition, Halu Oleo University, Southeast Sulawesi 2022, and 1st Place and Best Idea in the ESRC Scientific Writing Competition, Udayana University Bali 2022.

Usung Ide Pembuatan Paper Bag Berbahan Dasar Eceng Gondok, Mahasiswa FKIP UNS Raih Juara 1 Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmiah dan Esai Nasional

HUMAS FKIP – Prestasi di tingkat nasional kembali diraih oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta. Prestasi tersebut diraih oleh Tegar Ramadani dari Program Studi (Prodi) Pendidikan Geografi yang mendapatkan Juara 1 Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmiah dan Esai Nasional 2022.

Perlombaan tersebut digelar oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi (Himapbio) Universitas Islam Jember yang bertajuk “Biologi Kompetensi Ilmiah Mahasiswa dan Siswa (Biokimia) II”. Adapun, tema yang diusung dalam perlombaan tersebut adalah “Peran Generasi Z dalam Menghadapi Perubahan Iklim Menuju Indonesia Emas 2045”.

Dalam lomba esai yang diikuti oleh berbagai peserta dari perguruan tinggi di Indonesia tersebut, Tegar mengusung gagasan pembuatan tas kertas berbahan dasar eceng gondok. Ia berikan nama produk yang diusungnya “Dompu-Bag”. Gagasan tersebut dilatarbelakangi karena ketersedian bahan baku berupa eceng gondok yang sangat melimpah dan dapat menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan.

Dihubungi oleh tim jurnalis fkip.uns.ac.id pada Minggu (25/9/2022), Tegar mengatakan senang dan bersyukur dengan hasil yang diraihnya. Ia juga mengatakan bahwa hasil tersebut akan dijadikan sebagai motivasi dan evaluasi ke depan.

“Diumumkan sebagai juara pada tanggal 5 September 2022 melalui Zoom Meeting tentunya saya senang dan bersyukur. Ke depan, hasil yang saya peroleh ini akan saya jadikan motivasi sekaligus evaluasi untuk terus mengembangkan potensi yang ada pada diri saya,” ungkap Tegar.

Pada kesempatan yang sama, Tegar juga membagikan caranya dalam mencari informasi-informasi mengenai pelaksanaan perlombaan. Ia mengatakan bahwa ia mencari informasi tersebut melalui akun media sosial Instagram.

“Saya biasanya mencari informasi-informasi mengenai lomba melalui akun media sosial Instagram. Bisa gunakan fitur pencarian dan ketik kata kunci yang mau dicari, misalnya lomba esai. Pencarian bisa disesuaikan dengan minat dan potensi yang dimiliki. Kalau saya biasanya mencari dengan kata kunci lomba esai bertemakan lingkungan,” kata Tegar.

Sebelumnya, Tegar sudah berhasil menorehkan banyak prestasi. Prestasi tersebut diantaranya Juara 1 Lomba Menulis Kritis Universitas Sriwijaya 2021, Juara 2 Lomba Esai Nasional Code K-Risma Universitas Brawijaya 2021, Juara 2 Lomba Esai Nasional FRIC Universitas Negeri Malang, Juara 3 Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmiah Injection Universitas Halu Oleo Sulawesi Tenggara 2022, serta Juara 1 dan Best Idea Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmia ESRC Universitas Udayana Bali 2022.
