FKIP – The Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program Student Association (Hima PGSD) Surakarta Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held the election of Mas and Mbak PGSD on Saturday (21/5/2022). Activities are carried out offline on campus IV UNS.

This activity is part of a series of Kartini’s Day events. The selection of Mas and Mbak PGSD was held with the aim of selecting PGSD students who deserve to be role models and inspire other students.

This year, Fath Sadidan Burhanudin from the class of 2020 was chosen as Mas and Endah Yuliana from the class of 2019 as Mbak. Interviewed by the fkip.uns.ac.id team, Fath conveyed his impression after being declared as Mas PGSD.

“The impression of being chosen as an ambassador is happy, proud, and increases self-confidence,” said Fath to the fkip.uns.ac.id team, Monday (23/5/2022).

In line with Fath, Endah also expressed her impression after being declared an ambassador. He feels grateful and will continue to develop himself and achievements.

“The impression of being chosen as an ambassador is grateful, happy, and becomes a separate motivation to continue to develop and excel,” said Endah.

Next, Fath explained his motivation to participate in the PGSD Mas and Mbak Election.

“My motivation for participating in the election of Mas and Mbak is to increase my self-confidence, to improve myself, and to make the PGSD Study Program a study program that is not only broad-minded, but also cultured,” explained Fath.

Furthermore, Endah conveyed the meaning of an ambassador. According to him, being an ambassador is a trust.

“Being an ambassador is a mandate to continue to be able to provide benefits and inspiration to others, especially PGSD students and bring the good name of the PGSD Study Program out there,” said Endah.

At the end, Endah conveyed a message to keep the spirit of learning so that in the future you will become an excellent, professional, and innovative educator.

“The message for PGSD students is to continue to be enthusiastic about learning, trying new things, and honing themselves by actively participating in academic and student activities, so that in the future they can become excellent, professional and innovative educator candidates,” concluded Endah.
